Well, my novel idea seems pretty much set in place. I did wind up switching one of the characters' names, but I think that's the last change I'll make.
Now I just have to fight the temptation to start a day early. I do need to rest. I'll start tomorrow.
I swear.

6:38p - Weird little rant on shapeshifting.
This rant isn't connected to much of anything at all...except, perhaps, the people I've met online who believe they're shapeshifters, and the way that shapeshifting is often used in fantasy.

To use the language of academia, maybe shapeshifters are "transgressive," and people find it hard to deal with that-
Or maybe they just freak people out. *shrug*
