I'm thinking about doing NaNoWriMo, as a sort of challenge. There are stories I'd like to write and keep putting off, because "Well, I'll write them as soon as I'm done with my current ones." But at the moment I'm in the middle of a pair of fairly long series, and have ideas already lined up behind them, so when those stories are going to get written is a matter for debate.
So I might try NaNoWriMo, so that one of the ideas can actually get a chance to get written. And I won't be worrying as much about how it might end up, because the point of NaNoWriMo is to get the novel written, not worry about editing and polishing.
Maybe.

4:09p - Well, I did it.
Jumped off the boat into the shark-infested water, that is. I joined NaNoWriMo, and decided that I'm actually going to write a novel idea I have in mind that involves romance and angst. And, to top it off, the novel has a really weird title that comes from Swinburne.
I'm scared, Mommy.
But excited.
